La Tuniña

La Tuniña (from ‘Tuna’ and ‘niña’, girl) is made up from female students and former students from Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Still dressed in the traditional Medieval Tuna costumes, we perform Spanish and South-American folk songs using guitars and traditional Spanish instruments like the bandurria and laud. Our capa’s (capes) are adorned with souvernirs from the many places where we played, and ribbons from the serenades we have given. We  sing about love,  studying and of course about partying!
